Coconut Breaded King Prawns

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  • 12 King Prawns (cleaned and deveined)

  • Juice of 1 large Lemon

  • 1/8 cup olive oil

  • Salt and Black Pepper

  • 1/2 cup panko

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

  • 2 eggs (beaten)

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • Vegetable Oil (For Frying) 

  • Chef Stones Secret Spice™️

  1. Mix lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper and secret spice in a bowl.

  2. Pour the mix over the clean prawns

  3. Marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  4. Combine coconut and panko in a bowl, put flour in another and eggs in the third

  5. Dip prawns in flour, then eggs and finally panko-coconut mix

  6. Deep fry for 2 minutes and serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
