Chef Stone's Suya Chicken Burger

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  • 200g minced chicken

  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon suya spice

  • 3 tablespoons grated sweet onion

  • Salt and black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Chef Stone's Secret Spice™️

  • Tomatoes, Sliced

  • Lettuce 

  • Cheddar cheese slices

  • Burger buns

  1. In a bowl, combine minced chicken, breadcrumbs, suya spice, grated onions, salt, black pepper and secret spice.

  2. Roll into balls and flatten into 5 -inch diameter discs and 1 inch thickness

  3. Put patties on a tray, cover with cling film and refrigerate for up to 1 hour

  4. Set a pan over medium heat, add oil and sear the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side.

  5. Layer burger buns with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and chicken patties as desired.
